How this differs from an agency.

You set your rate, and the organization pays it in full. Our fee is added on their side, never taken from yours. The organization contracts you directly and stays payer of record. There is no agency between you and the organization.

Travel, lodging and per diem go on the same invoice as your rate, the way you bill them today.

Free tools for your career.

MeiraWorks is built to support professionals in organ donation and transplant. The tools are free, and they are yours whether or not you ever book a day through us.

Your credentials and your file

  • Your license, your CPTC and the rest of your certs in one place, with a heads-up before anything expires
  • Send your file to an OPO or an agency with one link, instead of the same PDFs again
  • A card and an ID any organization can look up, with your resume behind it
  • Keep your case count for recert, with no donor information in it
  • Snap receipts, travel confirmations and contracts from your phone
  • Download everything here any time and take it with you

Getting paid

  • Send an invoice to anyone you work for: an OPO, a hospital, an agency
  • Bill the way the field bills: call days, per diem, mileage, holiday pay, training days
  • They pay by card or bank, and it goes straight into your account
  • Your W-9 on file once; your 1099 at the end of the year
  • Already send your own invoices? Upload them here and track when you get paid

Finding and doing the work

  • Put your open dates on your calendar so OPOs can see them, and flag that you can take an urgent night
  • Accept an assignment and the contract, your calendar and your travel are set up for you
  • Syncs with Google or Outlook
  • Teach? List your trainings and set your own price
  • See which OPOs hire for what you do, and who to email there
  • See what OPOs are hiring and paying for your roles, from their own job postings

The field

  • Every OPO, transplant center and vendor, with notes from colleagues: where to park, where to badge in, the after-hours number
  • Channels and a directory of the people doing the same work
  • A knowledge base on how donation works and how to run your own practice, that you can add to
  • A simulation to practice taking the call
  • Help from a real person when you need it
